How we earn
The site is free. When you click a button marked Ad and book, the partner pays us a commission. You pay the same price.
Commission never changes a score or the order of results. A place we earn nothing from can top the list, and often does.

Sponsored listings
A local business, such as a surf school or a chalet company, can pay a flat fee to be shown next to its place. It only appears when that place is already in your results. It sits below the free results, is marked Sponsored, and never changes a score or the order.
Our own things
The weekly email is free. If it carries a sponsor, the email says so. The shop sells our own T-shirts and stickers.
We show no display ads, so we set no cookies.
